NCDEX Turmeric Arrivals Up In Erode Mandi

According to market sources, turmeric price in the Nizamabad mandi stood steady at Rs 5,700 per quintal and the arrivals remained unchanged at 1,500 bags.

Turmeric price quoted in the Erode mandi were stable at Rs 6,500 per quintal and arrivals jumped to 3,000 bags from 2,000 bags. The Salem variety was trading steady at Rs 7,000 per quintal.

In the Nanded mandi of Maharashtra, select quality quoted in the range of Rs 6,000-6,400 per quintal. The Powder quality traded in the range of Rs 5,500-5,700 per quintal.

The NCDEX Turmeric September contract moved in the range of Rs 6,080-6,198 and is currently trading lower at Rs 6,120 per quintal, down by Rs 24 or 0.38% per quintal. Via
