Havells India made the announcement before market hours on Monday, 7 January 2013.

The stock rose 1.41% to Rs 645.70 on that day. It has risen 6.63% in the preceding three sessions from a recent low of Rs 636.75 on Friday, 4 January 2013.

Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was up 64.16 points, or 0.32%, to 19,806.68.

On BSE, 96,000 shares were traded in the counter as against an average daily volume of 28,291 shares in the past one quarter.

The stock hit a high of Rs 681 so far during the day, which is also a record high for the counter. The stock hit a low of Rs 653.70 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 403 on 6 January 2012.

The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 8 January 2013, rising 7.60% compared with the Sensexs 1.64% rise. The scrip had. however, underperformed the market in past one quarter, falling 1.77% as against Sensexs 5.52% rise. [Via]
